International Tax Manager Recruitment
No Fee Until You Hire
WHY THIS ROLE IS HARD TO HIRE
- Hiring an experienced International Tax Manager requires more than general tax or accounting knowledge. Organizations need professionals who understand complex cross-border tax rules, international reporting requirements, treaty considerations, and the tax implications of operating across multiple jurisdictions.
- International tax responsibilities can involve foreign subsidiaries, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, tax treaties, permanent establishments, and changing regulatory requirements. Therefore, employers often seek candidates with specialized international tax expertise combined with strong analytical abilities and experience managing complex multinational structures.
- Furthermore, International Tax Managers must communicate technical international tax matters to finance teams, executives, clients, and other stakeholders while coordinating work across multiple jurisdictions. Professionals who can balance technical expertise, project management, business considerations, and tax risk can be difficult to attract.
