What does a Assurance Manager Do?
Plan Assurance Engagements
An Assurance Manager plans assurance assignments by understanding engagement objectives, assessing relevant risks, establishing procedures, and coordinating the resources required to complete the work effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
5-12+ years of experience in assurance, external audit, internal audit, accounting, risk management, compliance, or a related field, with demonstrated experience managing or leading assurance engagements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certifications
CPA, CIA, CISA, or another relevant professional certification may be preferred depending on the organization's assurance focus and specialization.
