What does a Aerospace Engineer Do?
Design & Develop Aerospace Products

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, analyze, and support aerospace components, systems, products, and manufacturing processes.
- Perform engineering analysis and technical evaluations related to aerospace products, materials, structures, systems, or manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, testing, production, and other engineering teams to resolve technical and production issues.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, production introduction, troubleshooting, and engineering changes.
- Identify and implement improvements that support aerospace product quality, reliability, manufacturability, safety, and production efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
5-10+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, aerospace manufacturing, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Certifications
Relevant engineering certifications, professional credentials, Lean Six Sigma training, or industry-specific qualifications can be beneficial depending on employer requirements.
