KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and improve quality processes and controls for aerospace manufacturing operations.
- Analyze nonconformances, defects, inspection results, and production data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, production, inspection, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support audits, quality documentation, process validation, inspection requirements, and compliance activities.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives designed to reduce defects, improve process consistency, and support reliable aerospace production.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
5-10+ years of experience in quality engineering, aerospace manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, process quality, or a related discipline, preferably within aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Certifications
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant quality and process-improvement certifications can be beneficial depending on employer requirements.
