What does a Corporate Partner Do?
Advise on Corporate Transactions
Provides senior legal advice on mergers, acquisitions, investments, financing, restructuring, and other strategic transactions.
Manage Client Relationships
Develops long-term relationships with business leaders, executives, investors, and other corporate clients.
Lead Complex Matters
Oversees sophisticated legal matters, transaction strategy, negotiations, documentation, and closing processes.
Guide Corporate Governance
Advises boards, executives, and companies on governance, organizational matters, and legal risk.
Develop Business
Builds new client relationships, expands existing accounts, and contributes to the firm's business development strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, financing, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and strategic transactions.
- Lead complex transactions from initial strategy and due diligence through negotiation, documentation, and closing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated corporate and transactional agreements.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with executives, boards, investors, and other senior stakeholders.
- Mentor associates, manage legal teams, contribute to firm leadership, and develop new business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
10-25+ years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, transactional law, private equity, securities, or a related practice area.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active admission to the applicable state bar and eligibility to practice as required.
