What does a Senior MEP Project Manager Do?
Lead MEP Project Strategy
Establishes project execution strategies, priorities, milestones, and coordination plans for complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes.
Manage Project Financials
Oversees MEP budgets, forecasts, commitments, change management, procurement costs, and overall financial performance.
Direct MEP Teams & Partners
Leads project managers, engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and other project participants across MEP disciplines.
Manage Technical Coordination
Oversees design coordination, BIM coordination, RFIs, submittals, constructability reviews, procurement, and technical issue resolution.
Lead Commissioning & Closeout
Directs testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, documentation, turnover, and final MEP project closeout.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
10-20+ years of MEP construction, project management, or senior building systems leadership experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent senior-level MEP construction experience may qualify.
Certifications
PMP, PE, CCM, LEED, or other relevant construction, engineering, and project management credentials can be beneficial.
