KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, integrate, and improve automated manufacturing systems, production equipment, and industrial controls.
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, motion-control systems, robotics, sensors, and related automation technologies.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing optimization of automated production systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, controls, maintenance, and production teams to resolve automation and equipment issues.
- Analyze automation performance and implement improvements that support productivity, equipment reliability, quality, safety, and reduced downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
5-10+ years of experience in automation engineering, controls engineering, industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline, preferably within automotive or industrial manufacturing.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Certifications
Relevant PLC, robotics, controls, automation, Lean Six Sigma, or industrial safety certifications can be beneficial depending on employer requirements.
