KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes used to produce electronic products and components.
- Analyze process performance, production data, defects, variation, and manufacturing metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Investigate process problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, design engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve process issues and support manufacturing objectives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve process stability, product quality, throughput, efficiency, and manufacturing cost.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
3-8+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, production engineering, electronics manufacturing, or a related discipline, preferably within a technically complex or high-volume manufacturing environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Certifications
Lean Six Sigma, IPC-related training, process improvement certifications, or other relevant engineering and manufacturing credentials can be beneficial depending on employer requirements.
