KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality controls and processes for electronics manufacturing operations.
- Analyze defects, nonconformances, customer complaints, and process data to identify root causes and quality risks.
- Lead or support corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, process engineering, production, design engineering, suppliers, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Implement quality and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve process stability, and strengthen product and manufacturing performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
3-8+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, process engineering, electronics manufacturing, or a related discipline, preferably within a technically complex manufacturing environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Certifications
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Lean Six Sigma, IPC-related training, or other relevant quality and manufacturing certifications can be beneficial depending on employer requirements.
