KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Develop and coordinate production schedules, staffing requirements, equipment utilization, and manufacturing resources.
- Lead production teams, establish performance expectations, and monitor productivity, quality, safety, and delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to resolve production constraints and improve manufacturing performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase throughput, reduce waste, control costs, and improve overall production efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
5-10+ years of experience in production management, manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
Certifications
Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or other relevant manufacturing and operations certifications can be beneficial depending on employer requirements.
