What does a Employment Associate Do?
Conduct Legal Research
Researches statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal authorities to support employment-law matters and client advice.
Draft Legal Documents
Prepares memoranda, employment agreements, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.

Assists with discovery, case preparation, depositions, evidence review, and other litigation activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct legal research and analysis on employment and workplace-law issues.
- Draft legal memoranda, employment agreements, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Assist with employment litigation, discovery, depositions, investigations, negotiations, and case preparation.
- Support attorneys and clients with employment-law compliance, workplace policies, and employee-related matters.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience
1-8+ years of experience in employment law, labor law, workplace litigation, employment counseling, or a related legal practice.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active admission to the applicable state bar and eligibility to practice as required.
